About Dru Shaw
I studied three dimensional design at Manchester Metropolitan University (formerly Manchester Polytechnic), worked in freelance animation in London and then taught Art and Graphic Design at a UK secondary school for 7 years. I am married with two young sons.
During this time I have also designed and made creative cakes and a number of other items. I started angelhearts after the passing away of two of our beloved pets and then, tragically, the death of the baby daughter of a friend. Since then a number of other people have asked me to make them personalised hearts after similar experiences.
